Canine Wellness Coach Nikki Sagliani empowers animal guardians with information on nutrition, supplements, environment, and overall care so that they can make the best choices for their dogs. She is certified in canine nutrition with a Bachelor’s in Science from the Colorado School of Mines.

Nikki Sagliani - Owner, Dog Walker, Canine Nutritionist, Animal Communicator
Nikki grew up with animals and has always been a huge animal lover. She became a Weimaraner enthusiast beginning in 1997 with her first puppy. Nikki has rescued and cared for six more over the last 27 years. She realized her true passion for animal care when she began volunteering for the Mile High Weimaraner Rescue in 2008. In 2009, Nikki quit her corporate job and took a leap of faith to start a pet-sitting and dog-walking business Denver Wag Walkers. She has never looked back! Nikki helped run the Mile High Weimaraner Rescue for over ten years and fostered many special needs dogs that she learned to heal through whole food nutrition. She returned to school in 2015 to pursue a career in canine nutrition. She became certified and launched her canine wellness coaching business, DWW Canine Nutrition, in 2016. She has since helped thousands of pet parents across the United States learn how to do their best by optimizing what they feed their beloved canine companions.
Rico Sagliani - Owner, Dog Walker, Pet Sitter
Rico grew up as an animal lover in Santa Monica, CA. He became a cat lover during his first years as a CO transplant. When Rico met Nikki and her two weimaraner’s, Chloe and Charlie, in 1999, he became a huge dog lover as well. Rico spent many years fostering and volunteering with the Mile High Weimaraner Rescue alongside his wife, Nikki. In 2010, Rico left his job as a restaurant manager to join Nikki to become a full-time dog walker and pet sitter with Denver Wag Walkers. Rico quickly learned that when you love what you do, you never work another day!
Tracy Frutiger - Pet Sitter
My name is Tracy Frutiger. I grew up in Niwot, Colorado spending my childhood outside surrounded by a variety of animals. I have known Nikki for over 30 years and had the pleasure of working with Denver Wag Walkers for over 10 years now. My two Pomeranians seen in my photos have crossed the Rainbow Bridge which means I have buckets of love and kindness to share with your fur babies while you are away!
Chloe Ray - Dog Walker, Pet Sitter
Hi, I'm Chloe! Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember—before I even headed off to college, my family had eight pups of all different breeds and sizes. As an only child, they were my constant companions, playmates, and comforters. That deep love for animals stuck with me into adulthood and eventually led me to a three-year stretch working at a large veterinary hospital as a client service representative.
There, I learned so much about pet care and wellness—and quickly became the go-to staffer when clients asked about dog walkers and pet sitters. Soon enough, I was walking dogs on my lunch breaks and building a little side hustle of my own. That side hustle turned into a full-time gig with a wonderful family of three dogs who kept me on my toes for four years before I moved!
These days, I’m happily married and dog mom to Charlie—a silly, stubborn, and very devoted Rottie mix who takes his neighborhood watch duties very seriously. When I’m not out spoiling Charlie with adventures, you can catch me cheering on Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors, dancing to Beyoncé, experimenting with new recipes on my smoker, or diving into a new craft or home reno project.

Mary Torre - Dog Walker, Pet Sitter
Hi! I am Mary, I am originally from the northeast and have lived in Colorado for the last three years. I have had pets most of my life and currently have a nine-year-old basset hound/ lab mix, a five-year-old cattle dog, and two-year-old husky/pitbull mix. We also have two sugar gliders. I love spending time with animals and bringing them joy with pets, walks and play time! I own a business making and selling jewelry. I sell at events throughout Colorado spreading the knowledge of crystal healing. I would love to take care of your family members and will make sure they feel loved while you’re away.
Troy Shadley - Dog Walker, Pet Sitter
Hi! I am Troy. I am a Colorado native, and I grew up in Englewood. We always had animals as a kid, and I loved spending time with them. They were always considered members of the family!
For many years, I was an independent contractor and co-owned a small remodeling company; now, I work for Littleton Public Schools.
I lost my two beloved Pomeranians a while back, so I have lots of love to give. Working for Denver Wag Walkers has been such a labor of love. It’s been so rewarding to care for my client’s animals; they are family to me!
